Apostle Ivory Jenkins Jr. is the son of Ivory Sr. and Brenda Jenkins.  At a young age, he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and in his early Christian life, the late Bishop A. Dukes realized that a great anointing was upon his life. Within a short period of time, God began to mold and make Apostle Jenkins into what he would have him to be. At the age of fifteen Pastor Jenkins was diagnosed with leukemia and was given a short time to live. Bishop Dukes being led by the Holy Ghost instructed Pastor Jenkins to drink olive oil for seven days. God gave Pastor Jenkins a miracle by healing him of this terminal illness. Upon his healing Pastor Jenkins accepted the call to preach God’s word.

Later after the passing of the late Bishop A. Dukes, Pastor Jenkins joined The 7th Day Holy Church of Deliverance, under the leadership of Dr. Mary L. Alexander. During his time spent in this ministry Bishop Alexander helped to develop the calling upon his life that was predestined by God.

In 1994 Pastor Jenkins moved to New Jersey under the leadership of the late Rev. L. Wyatt. There he served as Youth Pastor, Sunday School Teacher, Church Evangelist, Choir Director and Praise and Worship leader. In the early part of 1999, after much praying and fasting, the vision that God had given him was finally becoming a reality. On March 7, 1999, Fountain of Praise Deliverance Tabernacle was born.

On July 1, 2001, Chief Apostle David L. Dupree, Jr. consecrated Pastor Jenkins to the office of an Apostle. Apostle Ivory Jenkins Jr. is the establishmentarian and senior pastor of the Greater Fountain of Praise of Philadelphia, PA and of Fountain of Praise of Plainfield, NJ. Apostle Jenkins is also the Chief Apostle and Presiding Prelate of the Fountain of Praise Covenant Churches. His episcopacy serves the states of Delaware, Maryland, and New Jersey New York, North & South Carolina and Florida.  Apostle Jenkins has been in the ministry for over twenty-five years during which time he has traveled extensively throughout the United States as well as abroad. He is a much sought-after preacher, teacher, leader, and counselor. Moreover, his gift has made room for him, allowing him to minister on national platforms. Apostle Jenkins is a young man, yet an old-fashioned preacher whom is full of wisdom and possesses the divine revelation of God’s word.
